Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome Hotel Lobby, Restaurant, Bar, & Public Space Renovations

The Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome recently renovated its dated exterior, lobby, restaurant/bar, and other public spaces and now stands proud along the new prominent Loyola streetcar line. McDonnel worked with Gensler, a global architectural firm, on the new designs. The exterior work included new canopies and floating cloud elements throughout the Porte Cochere. High end LED lighting was installed for sustainability. The interior upgrades take the formerly generic lobby and public spaces to a much more sophisticated and contemporary atmosphere, attracting guests from around the world.
